You can’t have a car that’s capable of out driving practically everything else on the road unless it’s able to stop at a moment’s notice, too. This one utilizes oversized carbon ceramic brakes in order to get the job done, and it does so quite effectively.

High performance cars from different automakers are typically owned by the factory. Therefore, they are approved to compete on race day but when the race is over, the drivers have to turn them back over to the factory. That’s not so with the Aston Martin. Drivers purchase the cars, to the tune of just over two million dollars a piece, but when the race is over, the car is theirs to keep.

9. There’s one company in the world that can make this car street legal

The company is called RML and it’s based in Britain. It’s the only company that’s capable of making the necessary modifications to turn this racer into a street-legal machine. In fact, the modifications are so expensive, it takes about a year-and-a-half to modify just one vehicle.

10. They stand by their work

While it takes a long time and a lot of money to make the car street legal, RML will also make the modifications necessary to undo everything they have previously done and turn the car back into a racer, all at no additional cost. Considering the cost of the car itself, that’s good to know.
