Something has gone wrong onboard The Eye. I need to see if Noel has been in contact with Vladimir.
Head to Noel's vicinity to find out what's going on. It turns out that the Eye station was attacked by Starborn. Also the Lodge is about to be attacked so you have to decide whether to stay and defend the Lodge or help your friends at the station.
Note: Which decision you make will affect which of your companions will die. According to a theory circulating on the Internet, at the station will die your "favorite" companion and at the lodge it will be the second-best companion. In my opinion, the version with a favorite companion who dies on the space station seems likely, but in the Lodge I think it will always be Barrett.
A Starborn known as the Hunter has attacked the Eye and is coming to the Lodge.
If you are going to defend the Lodge then just wait a while. Noel will start packing artifacts and after a while the mission objective will change to the next one.
Run up to the upper floor. There you will notice Walter, who has been captured by a cloaked Hunter. Get closer and he will release Walter and expose himself.
I stayed to defend the Lodge. The Hunter has arrived. I need to give Noel time to pack up the Artifacts so we can escape.
The Hunter will summon his clone. They are both very strong so be on your guard. You don't have to kill them but only survive for a short period of time until Noel packs up the artifacts and is ready to escape.
Noel has packed up the Artifacts. We need to get to the ship and grav jump away from the area so the Hunter can't track us.
Follow Noel and others through the basement to the entrance to the door through which you reach the Well.
You now need to get to your ship through the Well and the Spaceport District. The Hunter will attack you as you run but it's best to ignore him and run to your final destination.
We need to get to the Eye. Hopefully we're not too late to save everyone on the station.
When you take off and find yourself in orbit, you will come across the Hunter's ship there. The Hunter will talk to you and then, no matter what you say, he will fly away.
When you arrive at the station then approach each of the companions who are here and check their status. If you previously decided to defend the Lodge then one of them will be dead.
We should return to Noel and regroup.
Just approach Noel who is talking to Vladimir.
The rest of this mission is already the same for both versions of events (go to objective 4).
I've decided to run to the Eye and rescue the people onboard the station. Hopefully the Lodge can hold off the Hunter without me.
If you want to go to the station then leave the Lodge through the front entrance. Once you do this you will no longer be able to change your mind and return. When you get outside then get into the ship, fly to the space station, dock and board it.
Talk to each of your companions on the space station. They will be exhausted from the battle they fought, but they will all be alive.
I've rescued everyone onboard the Eye. I need to head back to the Lodge. Hopefully I'm not too late to stop the Hunter.
You can use the "set course" option from the mission screen and fast travel to the Lodge. Approach each of the companions who are in the Lodge and check their status. Unfortunately, one of them did not survive the attack.
I need to find Noel. She escaped through a secret door in the Lodge's basement.
From Walter, you learned where Noel had escaped to. Go down the stairs to the basement and find the door he mentioned to you.
Go through them and you will enter the Well. A few steps further on you will find Noel. Approach her and talk to her.
Suddenly a Hunter will appear and after a few seconds he will attack you.
The Hunter has found us! I have to get Noel, and the Artifacts, to my ship so we can escape.
You now need to get to your ship through the Well and the Spaceport District. The Hunter will attack you as you run but it's best to ignore him and run as fast as you can to the spaceport where your ship is.
Sit in the pilot's seat and take off. When you take off and find yourself in orbit, you will come across the Hunter's ship there. The Hunter will talk to you and then, no matter what you say, he will fly away.
Return to the space station. You will find Vladimir there. The rest of this mission is already the same for both versions of events.
The Artifacts aren't safe at the Lodge anymore. I could place the Armillary on my ship. Or I could land on a planet and build a defensible outpost, and place the Armillary there.
You can now build the Armillary on your Ship or at your Outposts.
To build the Armillary on your Ship, go to the new Armillary Screen inside your ship's cockpit.
To build the Armillary at one of your Outposts, go to your Outpost and enter the build mode. There will be a new "Quest" category that contains the Armillary.
You can now move the Armillary. Starborn attacks are more likely wherever the Armillary is placed. If you choose to keep the Artifacts in your inventory, then attacks are more likely everywhere.
I found a new home for the Artifacts. I should head back to the Lodge.
Fly back to Jemison. You will not be able to travel directly to the Lodge, you will have to get there from the spaceport. Immediately after entering the lodge you will receive the mini mission "Companion's Belongings" which will allow you to recover items that were in the possession of your deceased companion. They are located in a chest in the basement.
In the Lodge talk to Matteo. This will complete the mission and you will receive 800 XP, 11800 Credits, and Refined Constellation Pack. After this conversation, the next main mission will automatically begin - "Unity".
We survived the Starborn attack, but not everyone made it.
