Last Splash Weekends start Saturday at Roaring Springs after record setting season

Roaring Springs reports a record attendance this season, estimating a 25% increase over the water park's 24-year history.

Roaring Springs CEO Pat Morandi attributes this to three factors: Roaring Springs' major expansion, population growth in the area, and more out-of-area guests visiting.

"We built phase one of our expansion both for the enjoyment of local families and to attract visitors from the Northwest and beyond as a tourism destination," Morandi says. "The next four phases each feature a major water ride and will grow our capacity to keep pace with the growth in Idaho over the next decade."

If you have not had a chance to make it out to Roaring Springs yet this season or have not had enough fun, the Last Splash Weekends run Sept. 9-10 and 16-17 from noon to 7 p.m., and admission is $25, weather permitting.
