Arizona sports personality Makayla Perkins found herself trending this week after a little beef broke out between her and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
It all started with Patrick openly pitching the Arizona Coyotes to move to Kansas City following a ‘no’ vote by residents on a $2.3 billion venue.
KC coyotes has a nice ring to it! @NHL what y’all think? @tmobilecenter

That didn’t sit well with Makayla, who immediately popped into his mentions to issue a reply.
“Maybe you should focus on keeping your little brother out of jail and less on our team,” she tweeted.
The reference there, of course, is self-explanatory. Patrick’s brother, Jackson, is dealing with a very disturbing legal situation. Beyond that, it’s something of an open secret that the Mahomes Clan can’t stay out of the headlines.
Between Patrick’s wife, Brittany, going viral for her provocative Mother’s Day outfit, racy choice of attire to the 2023 Met Gala and crazy glow-in-the-dark dress, and then Jackson’s legal woes, that family is a mainstay in the news cycle.
After a brief war of words with Chiefs fans, Makayla declared herself victor.

As a result of her newfound popularity online, a number of her wild social media photos set the internet ablaze.
Big picture, Makayla’s feud with Patrick and the rest of the Mahomes family will likely burn out sooner rather than later.
It is one of those offseason things that only makes headlines because there is no actual football to watch.

That said, if you’re going to beef with anyone and hope the public takes your side – the Mahomes Clan is as good a group as any.
Will Patrick ultimately respond to Makayla at any point? Time will tell.
