Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has slowly started getting into the groove of things as a National Football League QB after a tumultuous rookie season. Lawrence was drafted into the Jaguars as their overall No.1 pick in the 2021 NFL draft, and he has started justifying his pick with a number of strong performances towards the end of the 2022/23 season.
While Lawrence is slowly but surely improving his footballing skills, he still needs to learn a lot in terms of his overall development as a quarterback. One of the aspects he definitely needs to improve on is his ability to make trash talk towards opposing defenders, a quality that is considered integral to good quarterbacks.
In a video released by a reputed news outlet, CBS in association with the NFL, Jaguars teammates all gave their opinions on what they feel about their quarterback’s trash-talking abilities. The general consensus that eventually came out from his teammates’ opinions is the fact that Trevor Lawrence is a very bad trash talker and F was the most awarded grade.

The 23-year-old himself claimed that he felt like he definitely needs to improve on his trash-talking abilities, but hopelessly craved a good grade from his teammates but the grades fell way short of his expectations.
“My trash talking abilities, I feel like I have more of a sarcastic trash talking. That’s kind of my tactic,” Lawrence said in a video shared by NFL on CBS. “Hopefully the guys gave me a good grade.”
Travis Etienne was the first to grade his quarterback and he gave him an F grade, claiming that Lawrence’s trash-talking was terrible in reality and that he should work on it, more than his footballing skills.

“Not going to lie, it’s kind of like… terrible,” Etienne said. “I feel like he’s just gotta work on it a little bit.”
Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars on a five-game winning run in the regular season, claiming a total of 387 successful throws, which was a record in the franchise history for the Jaguars. Lawrence also oversaw a comeback from 27-0 against the Los Angeles Charges in the postseason in what became yet another feather to his cap in a relatively young career.
