17-year-old Coco Gauff gained international fame at such a young age after beating some prominent names in tennis and making her top 20 debut in 2021. She also reached the quarterfinals of the French Open 2021. Her performance is consistently getting better all throughout the 2021 season and she is also the youngest player in the WTA Top 100.

The youngster reached the first Grand Slam singles quarterfinals of her career at the French Open 2021. The American also reached the first semi-final of a WTA 1000 event at the Italian Open, where she exited to world No.1 Ashleigh Barty. Ranked 48th in the world at the start of the 2021 season, the young prodigy is now ranked 19th in the world.

Katerina Siniakova is the current World No.1 in women’s doubles alongside her compatriot Barbora Krejcikova. The 25-year-old had an absolutely sensational 2021 in the doubles category, winning the 2021 Wimbledon title alongside her partner. She also reached the final of the Australian Open doubles, losing to the pairing of Mertens and Sabalenka eventually.

However, the Czech had a mixed season in the singles form, mostly going out from tournaments in the early rounds since the commencement of the hardcourt season. The 25-year-old was last seen at the WTA Melbourne Summer Set 1, where she lost to Anna Bondar in the round of 32 stage.
